Radiotherapy is almost always used in combination with other types of treatment, and thankfully around 90 % is still alive 5 years after their diagnosis.

A lot of women are diagnosed with this disease each year, and radiotherapy is one of the ways to treat it.

The 3rd fact of the month focuses on The Danish Breast Cancer Group (DBCG).

DBCG aims to ensure optimal diagnostic procedures and treatment of breast cancer.

We continue with some knowledge of DBCG in fact number 4.

A database was established from the start using standardised datasheets. Now, the reports are web-based.
